You're really good at your job and taught me valuable lessons, mainly to only use my credit card to build credit. You helped fix my life and my credit card debt, which caused a lot of stress, anxiety and depression.
After completing post secondary school I had high amounts of student debt and consumer debts that required high monthly payments. Paul is a Senior Vice-President in our Moncton, New Brunswick office and oversees BDO’s Financial Recovery Services for the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island as well as Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Paul has over 10 years of professional experience in insolvency and has helped countless individuals and businesses find creative and pragmatic solutions to deal with overwhelming debt.
While Paul has worked in both the corporate and consumer world, he is mainly focused on helping individuals resolve their financial difficulties through consumer proposals or bankruptcy. Paul’s easy-going approach puts those he works with at ease and his well-rounded background brings a broad spectrum of knowledge to the table. Paul has been mandated as trustee in bankruptcies or proposals and receiver for business clients in industries ranging from farming to fish hatcheries and from manufacturing to medical supply.

Marlene previously worked in the financial counselling industry and moved over to insolvency in 2019. She successfully completed the Insolvency Counselling Course and is in the process of completing the Insolvency Administrator’s Course (Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals). Marlene obtained a diploma from Holland College where she studied Business Administration. She also previously obtained a designation as an Accredited Financial Counsellor.
