André is Senior Vice-President overseeing the insolvency practice for Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. He has helped thousands of individuals resolve their financial difficulties through creative and practical solutions, with an emphasis on avoiding bankruptcy. André is known for his ability to assist debtors and creditors reach mutually beneficial solutions including complex issues, such as marital separation, self-employment and tax debt. André also has extensive financial recovery experience helping small to large businesses with private and court-appointed receiverships, bankruptcies and proposals to creditors.

André is committing to ensuring that his clients understand all their options, so they feel confident in the solution they choose to settle their debts.

André is regularly consulted by insolvency professionals, media and government for his expert advice on insolvency-related matters. He is a frequent speaker at professional conferences such as the Annual Review of Insolvency Law and makes frequent media appearance on radio and television. André is a current executive board member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP), a past board member of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and sits on numerous CAIRP committees and task forces.

In his free time, André is most likely to be found hiking in Gatineau Park and travelling to interesting places.

Natalie has been helping people with debt since 1992 and has been working as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee since 2008. She achieved her goal of becoming the first woman partner with the firm in early 2015. Natalie manages the Ottawa West offices as well as the Pembroke office. She has extensive knowledge of consumer proposals and bankruptcies, and has helped countless individuals over the years attain their goals of becoming debt free. Natalie is happily married to her best friend, she has two children and two step children. She enjoys working out in the gym, hiking, cycling and camping.

Ron is Senior Vice-President and the insolvency service line leader for the province of Quebec. His practice covers the greater Montreal area and extends to the Eastern Townships. Ron has been helping individuals and companies overcome their financial difficulties since becoming a Licensed Insolvency Trustee in 1996.

Ron takes pride in providing empathetic advice and trustworthy guidance to people who need help getting through tough times, whether they are looking for budgeting advice or have questions about debt solutions. What he finds most rewarding is finding a solution to someone’s financial difficulties that seemed impossible and using innovative ways to help people get a new debt-free start.

Ron’s main piece of advice for people who are struggling with debt and is that there is always a solution, no matter how bad things might seem. With the right help, better times are ahead.

Ron is trained as a lawyer and has been a member of the Quebec Bar Association since 1990. As a well-respected speaker and educator, Ron has presented and taught for the Bar School of Quebec, the University of Sherbrooke and the School of Management at UQAM. Ron is a board member for CAE Capital, a not-for-profit lender that caters to start-ups and companies with limited borrowing power to support employment and sole proprietors.

Louise develops tailored debt solutions for each person’s individual circumstances that allows them to find relief from their financial burdens. Prior to joining BDO in 2019, Louise worked at another insolvency firm in New Brunswick. Louise successfully completed the Insolvency Counselling Course and is in the process of completing the Insolvency Administrator’s Course (Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals). She also studied translation at Laval University in Quebec.

Louise understands how difficult it can be for people to make the initial call for debt help. She prides herself in providing a comfortable and compassionate environment where her clients can ask questions and voice their concerns.

Financial counselling is extremely important to Louise because she believes it is the key to providing her clients with real life skills to move forward. With her down-to-earth personality and guidance, Louise helps her clients develop a budget and plan for a future that does not rely on credit.

Louise has three children and enjoys cooking, horseback riding and reading.
