Ilan Kibel
Ilan Kibel is a Vice President in the BDO Toronto and Peel Regions.
Ilan’s practice focuses on consumer, small business and corporate insolvency and restructuring.
With over 20 years experience in insolvency and restructuring in Canada Ilan has gained experience acting as Licensed Insolvency Trustee in all types of insolvency engagements for both consumers and corporations.
Ilan brings a creative, respectful and co-operative approach to all insolvency engagements. He takes great pride in his work whether it is assisting a family save their home while maximizing the recovery to creditors or it is restructuring and preserving a viable business for its stakeholders, owners and employees.

Debbie Kenwood
Debbie joined BDO in 1991 and is a Senior Estate Administrator and Credit Counselor. When an individual is overwhelmed by their debts she provides assistance by offering solutions best suited for them with the goal to move forward with a fresh start.
Debbie is involved with the initial assessment stage as well as administration of Consumer Proposals and Bankruptcies. She assists individual debtors with budgeting which is a key part of the process of moving forward to financial recovery.
She understands the impact financial problems can have on individuals and how it can affect their lives.
Debbie has given presentations, most recently on Money and Debt Management Solutions for Newcomers to Canada.
This is Debbie’s third year volunteering at the Halton Go 21 Walk for Downs Syndrome in Milton and involved with Big Brothers and Sisters of Halton.
It is extremely rewarding to be involved in the journey, watching lives change for the positive while assisting with the restructuring of an an individual’s financial affairs.
Debbie has a working knowledge of the French language and is currently studying Spanish.
