Dustin Joslin is a Manager based in the Kelowna, BC office and is responsible for the Southern Interior area of British Columbia including Penticton, Summerland, Naramata, Oliver, Osoyoos, Princeton and all points in between.
Dustin joined BDO Canada Limited in 2010 and has experience assisting individuals with debt solutions through use of various strategies. Dustin looks at all debt solution options and where feasible, assists the individual in filing a consumer proposal to the creditors, as this is often the preferred solution as opposed to a bankruptcy. Dustin has also completed his certification as an insolvency counselor to assist individuals through the insolvency processes.
Prior to joining the insolvency department of BDO Canada, Dustin worked for two years in the accounting, auditing and taxation fields with BDO Canada LLP. He has completed and received his designation as a Chartered Professional Accountant in British Columbia and is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee.
Having grown up in the Okanagan, graduating from Mount Boucherie Secondary School and then completing his Degree in Business Administration at Okanagan College, he worked in retail for seven years during school. Dustin has a background in customer service and understands what it takes to help people with any potential difficulties they are having.
Outside of work Dustin enjoys playing slo-pitch, golfing and spending time with his family on weekend camping trips. Dustin also enjoys helping with his son’s youth sports in the Okanagan sunshine and is the Treasurer of the West Kelowna Minor Baseball Association.
Chris Mihalcheon is a Manager based in the Kelowna, BC office who is responsible for the Southern and Central interior regions of British Columbia including Fort St. John, Prince George, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Nelson, Revelstoke and Salmon Arm.
Chris joined BDO Canada Limited in 2019 after working for another national insolvency firm since 2009, where he practiced in the area of personal and corporate insolvency including consumer bankruptcies and proposals, corporate bankruptcies and proposals, receiverships and formal liquidations. He has received his designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant in British Columbia, a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and currently holds a license to act as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee.
Outside of the office you will find Chris and his young family in the summer either on one of the many lakes the area has to offer or out riding his mountain bike, and enjoying the slopes of Silver Star in the winter.
Donna Mihalcheon is a Senior Vice-President located in Vernon, B. C. Donna is responsible for the delivery of financial recovery services in offices throughout British Columbia, including Salmon Arm, Vernon, Kelowna, Penticton and Kamloops, Surrey and Prince George.
Donna has over 30 years of experience assisting individuals and businesses in various advisory capacities. including restructuring, income tax, accounting, estate planning and audit. She has experience in restructuring in a variety of industries and sectors including public sector, food service, manufacturing, agriculture, hospitality, retail and construction. Donna also has extensive experience finding debt solutions for individuals through use of various workout strategies. Donna looks at all debt solutions and where feasible, assists the debtor in filing a consumer proposal to creditors. This is often the preferred solution as opposed to a bankruptcy.
Active in her community, she was Vice-President of the Greater Vernon 2012 BC Winter Games Society and is a past Chairman and Treasurer of the Vernon's Winter Carnival Society and the Vernon Women's Transition House Society. She has also had extensive coaching experience in both soccer and Ringette at both the recreation and elite levels and most recently was head coach for Team BC Ringette at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse.
Donna enjoys travelling, sailing, riding her motorcycle, backpacking, and strength training.
Donna is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, CIRP, LIT, C.A. and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
Donna is married, has two grown children, and a delightful granddaughter!
Shelley Cameron is a Senior Insolvency Estate Administrator with the Kelowna BDO office who travels to the Kootenay area as well as throughout the Okanagan.
As a certified Insolvency Administrator and Counsellor, Shelley assists troubled individuals and businesses by offering solutions when debt starts to overwhelm them, and helps to give them a fresh financial start. Through the initial assessment stage as well as the administration of consumer proposals and bankruptcies, Shelley provides financial counselling for individual debtors to aid them on their way to financial recovery. She has assisted persons with budgeting and has given informal presentations when requested.
It has given Shelley much personal satisfaction when persons have called over the years to say how well they have been moving forward in life after BDO’s help.

Kathi Leacock is an Estate Administrator and qualified Insolvency Counsellor located in the Kelowna, BC, office. She joined the BDO Canada insolvency team in December 2011, bringing with her over 12 years’ experience in customer service and a legal administration background. She has assisted individuals and families experiencing financial challenges through the consultation and bankruptcy or proposal process, and has conducted their counselling sessions on the road to financial recovery.
Kelowna has been home to Kathi since 2005, She enjoys the beautiful weather and scenery of the Okanagan Valley.

Genevieve Mulholland is a Junior Administrator, located in Kelowna BC. Genevieve has been in the Insolvency field since she joined the BDO Canada team in March 2013.
Prior to working at BDO, Genevieve spent over two years working in the financial lending field helping individuals with short term loans. Genevieve also has six years of experience in the food and hospitality service.
Genevieve was born in Golden, British Columbia but has lived in the Okanagan for the majority of her life. Genevieve graduated from Mount Boucherie Secondary School. She is an active member of the community and has volunteered with nonprofit organizations such as the Okanagan Mental Health Services Society and local food banks. On her spare time, Genevieve enjoys going for walks with her dog and scuba diving.
Genevieve is excited to help the individuals and families in the Okanagan through the hardships of financial difficulty.
