I really can't thank you enough. You really are amazing at what you do and thank you so much for your time and patience with me.
BDO guided me through a difficult time in my life, step by step, with all of the information I needed to make informed decisions about my financial situation. Bankruptcy is a stressful experience, but BDO provided the information I needed to get things back on track, answering all my questions along the way. I’m in a much better financial situation now and have learned new skills to better manage my money.
I want to take this opportunity to thank BDO for helping to pull me out of a desperate situation and bring me back into alignment with my financial matters. I have learned a lot from this experience and appreciate your compassion and support.
My consumer proposal experience: I had been putting off dealing with my credit card and line-of-credit debt, which totaled about $25,000. I tried to pay the bank back for years without ever touching the principal. Eventually the creditors started calling about 10 times a day. After talking with my BDO counsellor, we decided to offer the bank $135/month for 60 months and the bank accepted the offer. She has been supportive and understanding. She made the whole process easy, convenient and understandable for me. Thank you BDO! (Reposted from Google My Business reviews with client's consent.)

“ Myth: If I look at my credit report too often, it will hurt my credit score. Fact: When someone requests their own credit report, it is deemed a ‘soft hit’ and does not affect their credit score. We recommend everyone request a credit report at least once per year.
